As part of its contribution, DHF will host the Gate Demonstration Zone in partnership with member company, First Fence.

The demonstrations will highlight the importance of safety features in automated gates and show how the disabling of safety mechanisms can significantly increase the risk of injury and result in non-compliant installations.

The Gate Demonstration Zone provides an important opportunity for gate installers, manufacturers, and specifiers to enhance their knowledge of compliance and best practice.

MLA Expo

Visitors will be able to meet the DHF team at Stand 70 where representatives will be available to discuss technical guidance, training, and membership.

DHF’s Senior Training & Compliance Officer, Steve Hill, will also be present throughout the event to provide dedicated technical support.

From 17th to 19th October 2025, DHF will also exhibit at MLA Expo, Europe’s largest exhibition dedicated to locksmiths and the physical security sector.  Hosted at the Telford International Centre, this event will offer a wide program of seminars, workshops, demonstrations, and networking opportunities.

Industry standards

DHF will showcase its dominance in setting industry standards and promoting best practice.  Visitors can meet the DHF team at Stand H2.86, where they will be available to provide guidance on membership, training opportunities, and technical support.
