BQT Solutions, a manufacturer of high-security card and biometric readers and locks, will be exhibiting at ISC West 2018 in Las Vegas on April 10-13 at booth 20134. The company is proud to be showcasing a selection of new innovations this year including the YG10 Roller Door lock, which is also featured in ISC West’s new product showcase.

BQT Solutions provides a wide range of both off-the-shelf products and customized access control solutions. BQT is trusted by some of the most high-risk organizations in the world and works with major system integrators, security consultants and end users to develop tailored solutions that fulfil a range of access control requirements.

Daniel DeBlasio, Vice President of Sales, BQT Solutions America, Inc comments, “BQT is excited to see that the market is further embracing the convergence of physical access and IT, a trend that we at BQT Solutions have embraced from the beginning with our approach to open platforms. ISC West is a perfect opportunity to demonstrate to customers how BQT is continuing to bring new and exciting innovations that enable them to get the best out of their access control solution.”

Enhanced User Experience

BQT Solutions will be showing a sneak peak of their latest software integration between their miPASS Access TMS Software and Paxton’s Net2 Software. Dan continues, “We are very excited to be partnering with Paxton to produce a more streamlined user experience for our customers. With this integration users can be enrolled for our biometric readers directly through the Paxton Net2 Software. This eliminates the need to have two separate interfaces for managing your access control credentials.”

BQT Solutions has also announced the impending launch of their latest roller door lock - YG80 or Orca lock. BQT has built on the success of the highly popular YG10 to offer a host of additional features to cater to a broader range of applications.

These include a tamper detection switch and an internal heater for cold storage and transportation environment requirements. Furthermore, the YG80 is powered by a super capacitor instead of a battery backup, ensuring increased reliability and life expectancy. The unit is highly robust in extreme weather conditions, with a 3‐meter flying cable through an IP68 rated cable gland. This lock will be available from August 2018.

Fiber Optics To Biometrics

BQT’s products will also be featured by Future Fibre Technologies at booth 19125. Together, Future Fibre Technologies and BQT comprise the technology division of the newly formed FFT Group, the result of FFT’s successful takeover of BQT’s parent company, MaxSec.

The new group is well placed in risk management services and technologies, already trusted by some of the most security conscious commercial, industrial, military and government clients in the world. Visitors can benefit from a broader portfolio of complementary solutions encompassing both fiber optic intrusion detection and biometric and card access control.

Risk Mitigation Solution

Mark Horton, Global Sales and Marketing Director (Technology Division) remarked, “We are pleased to have FFT and BQT exhibiting together this year. ISC West represents another step towards integrating both companies so that we can offer our collective customer base a more comprehensive range of solutions to protect their businesses.”

I look forward to introducing current customers to a second range of high quality products that offers clear synergies with the solutions they are already familiar with. Both companies manufacture market leading products that are now available from a single source, for those requiring a superior risk mitigation solution.”
