ASYLON Inc., the provider of automated robotic perimeter security, was awarded a $1M Phase 2 Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract by AFWERX to harden and modernize Asylons’ DroneCore platform for the United States Air Force.

Asylon will be supporting Security Forces by leveraging DroneCores’ autonomous drone surveillance capabilities for perimeter security. Leveraging aerial robotics for perimeter security provides both a force-multiplier and new capability set such as pre-programmed missions and automated alarm response. 

Providing immediate visual assessments

The Asylon DroneCore technology would be vital in augmenting, or replacing legacy base security systems, that provide immediate visual assessments to protect high priority Air Force assets”- 1st Lt Klingemann, Installation Modernization Lead.
