Anixter Inc. celebrated the opening of its new location in Roseville, California, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house. Anixter executives, employees, customers, supplier partners and representatives from the Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce were all in attendance for networking, product demonstrations and tours.

The new Roseville office, which replaces Anixter’s office in Sacramento, is part of Anixter’s plan to enhance customer experience and improve efficiency by consolidating its processes into more comprehensive locations. The new Roseville facility offers flexible space that can easily transform to host customer events and demonstrations as well as meet Anixter’s operational needs. Anixter chose Roseville based on its central location, which makes it convenient for customers to attend training sessions and meet with their sales representatives.

Global strategy

The Sacramento area is booming and we want to be right in the middle of it. By bringing people across multiple segments and departments all under one roof, they can work more closely together to deliver creative, complete solutions to our customers,” said Daniel Lowndes, district manager at Anixter’s Roseville location. More than 100 employees across multiple roles are currently working in the Roseville office, including sales, marketing, supplier relations and global business development, with plans to hire more later in the year.

After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, customers toured the new facility and learned about the full line of solutions offered at the Roseville location from the Anixter team members who will be serving them.

This new location is part of our global strategy to break down barriers and encourage a more collaborative environment. We look forward to seeing how everyone within the new office will work together to more efficiently serve our customers while also providing them with more comprehensive and innovative solutions,” said Bill Geary, Anixter’s EVP Network & Security Solutions.
