Pan-European Freight Security And The Migrant Crisis conference

The Pan-European Freight Security and the Migrant Crisis conference takes place in London from 27 to 28 April where Port de Calais, Calais police, and Port of Dunkirk will discuss freight security in and around French ports.

The scale of the impact of the migrant crisis on road haulage and rail freight companies is continuing to extend across Europe. A majority of these symptoms are manifesting themselves in Calais. For most European freight operators, it all comes down to what the French authorities are prepared to do to keep Calais secure and increase personal security whilst ensuring lorries in or near the port are less vulnerable.
