Orion Entrance Control, Inc., manufacturer of high-end entrance control turnstile solutions, will unveil its newest products and exciting integrations at the ISC East security conference this November in New York City.

“We’ve developed several new turnstile products with advanced integrated technology and we’re excited to share the latest in entrance and access control with our friends and colleagues attending ISC East,” said Orion ECI President and Founder Steve Caroselli.

ISC East will be held November 16-17 at Javits Center North in New York City. ISC East is one of the leading events for the security industry, bringing together more than 250 leading manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors to the New York tri-state area. It is the only security event designed specifically for the northeast, which is in close proximity to New Hampshire-based Orion Entrance Control, Inc.

OBSG-WAVE Turnstile

Orion ECI representatives will be located at Booth 448. Show attendees are invited to stop by and demo a variety of turnstiles including the OBSG-WAVE, an Optical Barrier Swing-Glass turnstile with Safran’s MorphoWAVE technology. MorphoWAVE is the first contactless reader to capture and identify four fingerprints “on the fly” via just a wave of the hand in less than a second. Featuring 3/8 tempter swing glass, the OBSG-WAVE yields one person per second which is perfect for high traffic lobby security. Other featured turnstiles will include the OSAB-DA Optical Swing Arm Barrier–Double Arm and the ODAB Optical Drop Arm Barrier. The OSAB-DA will feature EyeLock's iris recognition for simple, secure identity authorization. The EyeLock is mounted on the OSAB demo with the FST Biometric access control solution and a palm reader. Visit Orion Entrance Control’s ISC East booth to demo their technologically advanced turnstile security solutions.

Booth 448 will also feature Orion’s turnstile integrations with a large variety of biometric and analytical security partners, including:

  • Safran MorphoWAVE – Contactless fingerprint readers
  • EyeLock – Iris recognition
  • HID Global – Twist and Go reader
  • IBC – Barcode scanners including the qSCAN-t embedded reader for turnstiles for visitor management
  • Identity Tech – IDT Palm Vein reader
  • FST Biometrics – Facial technology that identifies users from a distance

“Orion ECI integrates with leading security developers and manufacturers in an effort to bring comprehensive security solutions to our end users,” said Caroselli. “We’re excited to showcase our advanced turnstile technologies with our peers at ISC East.”
