In today’s news round-up, HID Global has provided its perspective on some of the key trends likely to impact government identity programs over the next five years.  By 2015, 85% of all credentials issued annually will be eIDs, according to a recent report by Acuity Market Intelligence. SeeTec AG has been honoured by the Federal Association IT Middle Class e.V. (BITMi) as “Software Made in Germany”. Dr. Oliver Grün handed the seal of quality to SeeTec board member and corporate spokesman Roland Keiser. Over in the US and Canada, IQinVision has recently announced that all of its most popular IQeye camera models have achieved UL Listed status in both countries. The UL listing means Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) found that representative product samples met UL’s safety requirements.
