The cameras also enable the mall security team to cooperate with specific stores and the local police department in identifying and prosecuting criminals. Finally, PSA Security Network has announced a vendor partnership with CheckVideo. In today’s news round-up, Samsung Techwin’s video surveillance products have been approved for use with Network Rail infrastructure and issued the PADS Certificate of Acceptance. The products were evaluated and comprehensively tested to ensure that they are reliable, fit for purpose and comply with Network Rail’s demanding standards in respect of safety. In other corporate news, integrated security solutions manufacturer TDSi recently held a Bake Off challenge to raise money for the Boo charity, which aims to offer opportunities for some of the poorest children in Africa.

In application news, ASSA ABLOY has secured a contract to supply products for Birmingham Dental Hospital & School of Dentistry. In today’s news round-up, TDSi will showcase its range of integrated security solutions at the 2014 Norbain Roadshow (North). Visitors will be shown how TDSi’s EXgarde access control software and VUgarde video monitoring system can work together as a full overview security solution, administered through a centralised portal. In today’s weekly news round-up, Mobotix AG has announced its Advanced Partner SeSys has shipped its 500th ATEX / IECEx digital IP CCTV camera. The camera, which will be showcased at Security Essen 2014, is based on a modified MOBOTIX core and is certified for use within inhospitable, hazardous or explosive areas. In corporate news, TDSi has announced the winners of its 2014 Partner Awards.
