For those anticipating the upcoming IFSEC 2011 tradeshow, Fujinon will be introducing its new 60x, day/night 2 megapixel resolution HD telephoto CCTV zoom lens and SeeTec has announced that it will be showcasing its innovative IP video management software. On the news round up today, we start with an update from the ASIS 2010 tradeshow due to kick off later this year in October. Those who are flying off to Dallas for the show will be able to take advantage of the 180 educational sessions on offer. At the PSA-TEC 2010 show taking place right now, Samsung is continuing to the spread word of its new Vision 2010 product roll-out.
It’s a win for IDTECK, as it has been selected to provide an access control system for the Turkey Court House project. Over in Spain Axis network cameras are meeting the needs of vehicle inspection company ATISAE.

Once again we start the news round up with a few updates from the upcoming IFSEC show and finish off with some application case studies.
Mobotix is set to introduce its new T24 IP video door station at the show. The new unit captures the entire entrance area without any blind spots, from wall to wall, floor to ceiling and uses integrated image correction software to deliver a high resolution video and audio feed to the remote viewing station. Also on show will be the Siqura TrafficServer from Optelecom-NKF. This is billed as the first video server ever to be integrated with automatic incident detection technology.
As the security industry looks forward to economic recovery, the UK Trade & Investment has planned to promote the UK security sector worldwide. The strategy was launched with His Royal Highness, Prince Michael of Kent, patron of the British Security Industry Association’s Export Council.

Verint Video Intelligence Solutions has been successfully deployed Minneapolis’ transit services in to help enhance passenger and operator safety onboard its para-transit Metro Mobility fleet and other contracted bus routes. Lastly, Westminster Kingsway College has selected and installed a SALTO Systems XS4 solution as part of a major security access control package at its five centres across the city.

First up, Ultracker has announce that it will be introduces new features in DVR technology on its stand. Also exhibiting will be the newly formed “team Samsung” who will seek to win the crown as the undisputed leader in security technology market.
In other news, IndigoVision has announces a 12% rise in IP video security products sales as per its half year financial results. A new Vice president,EMEA sales will be joining the March Networks security team. Lastly, Hikvision set to take the competition in video surveillance market by storm by joining with Hommax in Spain.
