On today’s weekly round-up, Nedap Security Management has won the Task Force EURO 2012 Topscorer Award for making a significant contribution in relation to the European Football Championship. On today’s weekly round-up, Canon Europe has entered a partnership with Genitech to increase its presence in the French network camera market. Genitech is now offering its customers in France Canon’s full range of network cameras. On today’s news round-up, the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) has just launched a free guide for using access control systems in the utilities sector. The guide explains how access control systems can better improve the protection of sites such as water, oil and nuclear plants, as well as administrative or production offices within the sector. NICE Systems has announced the financial results for the third quarter ending on the 30th of September 2011. NICE recorded revenues of $200.4 million, up 14% year over year.
