To begin our weekly round-up, we start with MOBOTIX, who has opened a new demonstration and meeting room at London’s iconic Gherkin office complex and established a state-of-the-art technology briefing centre at its North American headquarters on New York’s Wall Street. At the Arden Fair Mall in California, Avigilon’s high definition (HD) security cameras have been deployed to reduce crime and increase patron safety. The German Red Cross (DRK) has installed a state-of-the-art key and data protection system from Traka to control its home emergency service in Kreisverband Bitburg-Prum. At the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services, IQinVision has completed a major video surveillance project, installing over 3,200 H.264 megapixel cameras.
In other news, Verint is providing Shanghai International Financial Centre (IFC) in the Pudong Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone with an intelligent video security solution that will help to secure its 70-floor twin towers.
