High definition security solution secures tourist attraction and SIA’s “Statement Award” goes to SightLogix

On today’s weekly round-up, we begin with Avigilon, who has installed its HD surveillance solution at the Rogers Centre, one of Toronto’s top tourist attractions. In New Jersey, Harrison Police Department has deployed IndigoVision’s IP video technology to improve its incident response. Moving to the healthcare sector, US hospital Brooke Army Medical Centre (BAMC) has upgraded its video surveillance capabilities, thanks to NICE Systems Ltd. At the Le Mans MMArena in France, Milestone Systems open platform software and Sony HD cameras are helping to keep the stadium and visiting fans safe and secure.

In other news, Ingersoll-Rand and CNL Software have joined hands in order to provide customised technology solutions to healthcare units. On the same note, Panasonic has teamed up with Richmond Electrical Wholesalers (REW) to distribute security systems in Ireland. ADT is also riding high, as it has achieved Platinum certification in the Dealer Service Certification Program for Honeywell’s security enterprise-level products. For those anticipating the IFSEC 2011 tradeshow, Bosch Security Systems has announced that it will be showcasing its new portfolio of high-definition (HD) surveillance products.
