In today’s news round-up, HID Global and partners DLRS Group and X INFOTECH have been awarded the Regional ID Document of the Year Award 201 for their newly designed Irish electronic passport (e-passport). The new Irish e-passport is both more attractive and secure than its predecessor and combines the latest security technology with selected imagery that represents the culture, history and people of Ireland. Over in China, Hikvision’s Research & Development unit and Serving and Administration departments have moved to a new corporate complex in Hangzhou. The former buildings on Dongliu Road have been retained and are set to become the company’s manufacturing complex.
