In today’s news round-up, Idesco’s EPC reader has been selected for deployment in a vehicle identification application for a major Australian mining operation. The customer’s coal mining site required a robustly rugged system for identifying its very large mining vehicles.  Idesco’s Access 8 CD 5 2.0 AES readers have also been deployed in a number of highly secure customer installations. In other applications news, Arecont Vision’s megapixel cameras have been installed at the King Soopers Distribution Center located on the eastern slope of the Rocky Mountains. The cameras are mounted just below the approximately 40-foot ceilings to ensure they are not damaged by forklifts.
