In application news, Milestone video surveillance software is helping to manage traffic activities in Galway City, Ireland. Galway City Council has deployed Milestone XProtect Smart Client to manage all cameras across a large video wall, including pant-tilt-zoom (PTZ) control and zoom for detailed views of live and recorded video. In other application news, The Calico Group, a leading housing group in East Lancashire, has contracted Connexion2 to provide its award-winning and ACPO accredited Identicom lone worker device (LWD).
