In today’s news round-up, a US-based company is utilising CyberLock’s CyberKey temporary activation feature to verify package delivery by placing a CyberPoint in a combination lock box outside of the storage facility. Temporary activation allows administrators to designate a CyberLock or CyberPoint to reactivate an expired CyberKey for up to 5 minutes. In application news, a major electric utility serving the eastern United States has deployed SightLogix smart thermal camera systems to protect its substations. SightSensor thermal systems enable the utility to detect and respond to security incidents across multiple sites.
