In today’s news round-up, Wavestore has announced that it is working closely with ONVIF to develop Profile G conformity for its recording devices. Last year saw Wavestore achieve profile S compliance. Over in Scotland, the British Security Industry Association and Jobcentre Plus recently launched the “Security Works: Scotland” project. The project aims to assist security recruiters by educating Jobcentre Plus staff on the wide-ranging careers available within the security industry.

In corporate news, INSIDE Secure has announced that it has upgraded its SafeZone FIPS software cryptographic module to improve security for a broad array of smart connected devices. INSIDE’s enhanced SafeZone cryptographic software enables developers to build FIPS 140-2 certified applications for Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) for the first time. In events news, FSL will be exhibiting its wide range of inert and chemical gas suppression systems at Intersec Dubai 2014.
