In today’s news round-up, STANLEY Security announced recently that it has received Lenel factory certification and joined the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program (OAAP). STANLEY Security’s EyeLock product line interfaces with the Lenel OnGuard® access control system to provide end-users with a single, critical database for access control and iris biometric identification data. In application news, a series of Brickcom CB-100Ae cube cameras have been installed in a cafe in Spain, allowing its patrons to see the entire brewing process from start to finish.

In corporate news, ONVIF announced that it conducted its 10th Anniversary Developers’ Plugfest last month. Held in Fukuoka, Japan, the three-day event hosted by Panasonic encompassed nearly 300 hours of product testing and assessment of ONVIF Profile S for video and audio streaming, Profile C for physical access control products and Profile G for recording and playback. Over in the US, Preferred Technologies Group is now accepting distributorships around the world to sell its products. Finally, Richard Moore was appointed UK Director of Sales for Essentra Security in January 2014.
