In corporate news, Wavestore has appointed Shashi K. Yadav as its Business Development Manager for the Indian Subcontinent. Shashi will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities for Wavestore’s video recording and management solutions. Over in Denmark, Milestone is developing new capabilities in video surveillance through a partnership with the Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation. Research has already resulted in the latest release of Milestone XProtect® 2014, which includes a new metadata framework which vastly improves the speed of searching and analysis. Finally, Allegion has appointed Colin Green as Area Sales Manager Hospitality. Some 450 IndigoVision cameras now watch over the university campus. Over in the US, Frank De Fina has joined SightLogix as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Frank was previously Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Samsung Techwin America. Finally, Green Gate Access Systems has been chosen as the distributor for SMOES vertically lifting gates in the Eastern part of the UK.
