In today’s weekly news round-up, ASSA ABLOY will supply its high security steel doorsets to the sister building of The Shard, which together form the London Bridge Quarter development. More than 300 fire and acoustic steel doorsets will be installed throughout the new building, known as “The Place”. Over in Germany, Mobotix AG has had its seminar: “A Vision of Future Proof Digital CCTV” approved by the Royal Institute of British Architects for credits towards CPD requirements. The seminar offers insight into elements of modern CCTV systems and covers topics including decentralised technologies, Power over Ethernet and UK Home Office guidelines on identification standards.
