In today’s weekly news round-up, Avigilon has signed a definitive agreement to acquire VideoIQ. The transaction is expected to close in early January 2014 for cash consideration of $32 million. In corporate news, following testing of its Key Control and Locker Solutions with Lenel OnGuard 2012 and OnGuard 2013, Traka has been officially Lenel-certified as an OpenAccess Alliance Program (OAAP) partner.
