In today’s news round-up, AxxonSoft displayed its products at this year’s International Technical Fair in Bulgaria. AxxonSoft partner Andy demonstrated the Axxon Next video management system, as well as a pre-release of version 3.5 of the software. Over in China, manufacturers including Panasonic, Bosch, Honeywell, Samsung, Sanyo, Sony and Siemens presented their innovations at CPSE, which took place last week in Shenzhen.

Over in India, NXT-ID Inc. recently announced an agreement with Voice of Big data (VOBD), to distribute its 3D FaceMatch biometric facial recognition identification systems. In corporate news, Identive will hold an audio webcast and conference call to discuss the results of its 2013 third quarter this Thursday 7th November. Company CEO Jason Hart and CFO David Wear will host the webcast and conference call for financial analysts and investors, which will be followed by a Q&A session. In today’s news round-up, Surveon recently announced that it will be showcasing its new 3 megapixel real time HDR cameras at the CPSE 2013 trade show, taking place from 29th October  to 1st November  in Shenzhen, China. In corporate news, the un-cooled thermal security camera market is forecast to see high unit shipment growth of 25% over the next 5 years, close to twice the rate of the CCTV and video surveillance market according to a new report from IHS.

Over in Poland, AxxonSoft solutions for retail were showcased at the booth of its long-standing technology partner - Axis Communications at  the Shopping Center Forum this year. Following the success of the event, both companies have agreed on bolstering their marketing activities in Eastern Europe, and AxxonSoft will be opening a branch office in Poland. In the UK, the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) reflected on a number of successful discussions with MPs, think tanks and Police and Crime Commissioners, which saw the issues of police reform, regulatory change and the CCTV Code of Practice at the forefront of the agenda.
