In application news, Verint recently announced that Sao Bernardo do Campo has deployed a comprehensive security intelligence platform that includes Verint Video Management Software™, Verint Situation Management Center™ and Verint IP Cameras as part of its “Safe City Program.” Over in the UK, Sawbridgeworth Town Council has completed its upgrade to next generation IDIS DirectIP™ full-HD wireless network surveillance. Designed and installed by systems integrator Sunstone IP Systems, the council selected the DirectIP solution based on performance, affordability and Sunstone’s innovative system design. Finally, Tim Myers, Director of Product Management at Tyco Security Products, was a featured speaker at CONNECTIONS Europe: Monetising Strategies for the Connected Home, which took place earlier this week.
