On today’s news round-up, Panasonic will be showcasing its latest security and surveillance solutions at this year’s IFSEC tradeshow, taking place in Birmingham from the 14th – 17th May. Optex will also be exhibiting its IP and wireless ready security intrusion detection as well as its high-end perimeter protection capabilities, including four new products that complement its strategy of providing a multi-tiered approach to site protection. Commend UK will also be at the show introducing the first “virtual” software-based Intercom Server - a revolutionary addition to Commend’s Intercom 2.0 range, designed specifically to help customers with the latest IT infrastructure.
In other news, HID Global’s network access control solutions and contactless readers have been deployed at the Fuxi power plant in China’s Sichuan province. The new system provides increased security that ensures the operational safety of production and facility areas. Lastly, PureTech Systems has integrated its PureActiv wide area surveillance solution with the MIC Series 550 PTZ camera from Bosch. Read more security news…none
