In today’s weekly news round-up, Milestone Systems has announced new partnerships with Netgear and Zucchetti Axess. Netgear resellers and more than 2,400 of its partners will now be able to sell solutions with Milestone XProtect, while Zucchetti has become a certified Milestone access control partner. In events news, Axis Communications unveiled its AXIS A4011-E Reader at ASIS International. The reader supports touch-free entry with most entry card formats and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation.

In today’s news round-up, Milestone XProtect open platform video management software is the basis for an integrated security system in the Traverse City Area Public Schools (TCAPS). Each school previously had a stand-alone system, which were upgraded to a single IP network connecting all 26 TCAPS buildings in the district. In corporate news, Brickcom Corporation has announced a new distribution partnership with Electro Base Ltd. The factory required a flexible, scalable, and geographically distributed video management system and AxxonSoft’s Intellect PSIM met these requirements. In today’s news round-up, Panasonic has launched its new Solutions Centre at the UK headquarters in Berkshire. The new Centre is a purpose built facility that has been created to offer visitors the opportunity to see and experience the many different solutions that Panasonic Systems Communications Company (PSCEU) has to offer.
