In today’s weekly news round-up, HID launched its enhanced FARGO HDP5000 Printer/Encoder at CARTES Asia 2013, which concluded last week. The enhanced HDP5000 now includes an expanded feature set, including increased card throughput speeds for higher productivity. In events news, Arecont Vision displayed its Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology cameras at the recent CeBIT 2013 show. The company’s WDR technology delivers a dynamic range of up to 100dB at full resolution and without lowering the frame rates.
