In today’s news round-up, Vicon Industries and IQinVision have announced that they have entered into a definitive merger agreement to create one unified global provider of integrated solutions to the video security market. The merger is expected to close during Vicon’s September quarter. In application news, the Imperial War Museum in London has chosen Traka to implement an automated key management system. The 300-key Traka system and a smaller 100-key system were installed as part of an ongoing refurbishment project.
