In today’s news round-up, ASSA ABLOY and Immotec Systems have announced the integration of Immotec’s access control solutions with ASSA ABLOY’S range of Aperio wireless locks. SightLogix has recently announced the integration of its SightTracker® pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera controller with Videotec’s ULISSE line of positioning devices. The integration gives users an accurate and cost-effective video security solution for comprehensive detection, tracking and assessment over outdoor areas. In other corporate news, Octavian Security has been rated among the top 5% of security providers in the UK. Octavian’s rating of 125 points is a significant increase on its high score of 94 in 2011, which already placed it well ahead of the majority of other UK contractors.
