As ASIS International 2012 enters its third day in Philadelphia, Christie will showcase its integrated, high performance, high resolution mission critical video display wall solutions, which are purpose-built for the most complex control room environments. Also in events news, Lumidigm has announced that it will be demonstrating how its fingerprint technology can be extended to read barcodes and authenticate credentials at the 2012 Biometric Consortium Conference (BCC) and Technology Exposition, which takes place next week in Florida. In today’s news round-up,VideoSurveillance.com has provided PDXWildlife, a small conservation team of  scientists with the Oregon Zoo, a high-performance outdoor day/night IP camera system which allows the team to monitor panda breeding. The network video cameras are able to fully function in Ya’an’s hot, humid, and rainy climate, and offer high resolution images.
