Between 10 and 16 Geutebruck cameras were installed in each perfumery to cover critical areas. Finally, WavestoreUSA has appointed Randy Miller as Sales Manager, Eastern USA. Miller is now responsible for growing the WavestoreUSA dealer/integrator channel in the territory. In today’s news round-up, ASSA ABLOY will showcase its Aperio wireless locking technology range at IFSEC 2013. The full Aperio product range incorporates the new Aperio L100 and PINpad escutcheons. In other events news, Hytera Mobilfunk GmbH has been awarded the 4th Lower Saxony Foreign Trade Award at Hannover Messe 2013. Hytera were awarded in the “Small and medium enterprises” category and won against 50 other candidates.

Over in Brazil, Streit Group has exhibited its versatile APCs at LAAD Defence and Security 2013, which closed last week. In corporate news, G4S Technology has announced a partnership with Exacq Technologies. Exacq’s VMS solutions can now be fully integrated with G4S Technology’s Symmetry Security Management System. In today’s news round-up, SALTO Systems will launch its new product catalogue at IFSEC 2013. The latest versions of the SALTO GEO cylinder and XS4 electronic escutcheon are among the products featured in SALTO’s new catalogue. In applications news, ASSA ABLOY’s Aperio wireless locking solution has been selected to secure i2 Office locations across the UK. A selection of over 200 E100 escutcheons and C100 cylinder platforms have been fitted to date, with every i2 Office building across the UK anticipated to change to Aperio access control.

In other application news, Quadrant’s CCTV innovation is helping to secure Great Yarmouth town centre.
