In today’s news round-up, Dallmeier has announced that its Panomera Roadshow is back on tour in 2013. From the end of May until mid July, Dallmeier will be taking its patented multifocal sensor system on the road, touring through Germany, Great Britain, Belgium, Luxemburg, France, the Netherlands and Poland. In other corporate news, Axis Communications’ network IP camera has won the SER award 2013, a newly created engineering award by the Swedish Electrical and Computer Engineers National Association (SER). The award aims to highlight the important role Swedish electrical and computer engineers play in creating a smart and sustainable society.

In events news, Sony introduced its SNC-CX600W HD wireless camera at this year’s IFSEC 2013. The camera features a passive infrared (PIR) sensor for detecting movement in the dark and a white LED light for illuminating the scene automatically when motion is detected or when activated by the user. In application news, ISM in conjunction with systems integration partner, Active Intelligence, has been awarded the first phase of a nationwide contract that will help secure key national infrastructure in Nigeria, West Africa.
