Once again we start the news round up with a few updates from the upcoming IFSEC show and finish off with some application case studies.

Mobotix is set to introduce its new T24 IP video door station at the show. The new unit captures the entire entrance area without any blind spots, from wall to wall, floor to ceiling and uses integrated image correction software to deliver a high resolution video and audio feed to the remote viewing station. Also on show will be the Siqura TrafficServer from Optelecom-NKF.  This is billed as the first video server ever to be integrated with automatic incident detection technology.

As the security industry looks forward to economic recovery, the UK Trade & Investment has planned to promote the UK security sector worldwide. The strategy was launched with His Royal Highness, Prince Michael of Kent, patron of the British Security Industry Association’s Export Council.
