In today’s news round-up, TDSi will showcase its range of integrated security solutions at the 2014 Norbain Roadshow (North). Visitors will be shown how TDSi’s EXgarde access control software and VUgarde video monitoring system can work together as a full overview security solution, administered through a centralised portal. In application news, Axis Communications’ Q1931-E thermal network cameras have been installed at a photovoltaic solar park in Bologna. The cameras are equipped with VTrack intrusion video analysis software from Technoaware and monitor the perimeter of the site.

In corporate news, the BSIA recently hosted 25th anniversary celebrations for the CoESS General Assembly. As part of the celebrations, the BSIA invited a large delegation of European industry representatives to London to discuss and debate pan-European issues, regulatory provisions and best practice for the sector. Over in the US, STANLEY Security has announced this year’s Together For Safer Schools Grant Program, which is now open to the higher education market. Under the program, STANLEY gives higher education institutions the chance to obtain a share of its products and services.
