In today’s news round-up, Wavestore has fully integrated its video management software (VMS) with the FaceFirst biometric facial recognition solution. Chris Williams, Director of Wavestore, believes that the demand for facial recognition software will significantly increase over the next twelve months, and particularly so for high security or mission critical applications. Also in corporate news, TDSi has launched its “Gateway” installer training programme to offer its partners the highest levels of product knowledge and support. LILIN and icomply have entered into a technology partnership, under which LILIN’s range of DVR’s and HD IP cameras will be integrated into icomply’s VTAS Pro PSIM platform.

In events news, TKH Security Solutions has announced that it will participate in the Security Essen 2012 trade show scheduled in the end of September. Over in Scotland, the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) will be organising an open event, entitled “Scotland: Secure for Business”, in October to inform local businesses about security trends. Read more security news…
