In today’s news round-up, Software House has announced that two of its UK systems integrators have achieved its C•CURE Enterprise Level Certification. With this certification, Total Security Protection and Universal Security Systems join an elite group of integrators as part of the C•CURE Partner Program. In application news, NICE Systems has deployed its Safe City solution in Nanded, India. NICE’s solution provides Nanded’s law enforcement agencies with real-time situational awareness for both day-to-day operations and disaster handling.

In events news, Security Identity Alliance has announced its participation in the 6th National eID & ePassport Conference in Hungary. The Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) and The Security Identity Alliance will be chairing a Workshop on eIDAS on Monday 13th October. In other application news, MAN Commercial Protection has selected Skillweb’s SmartTask Security to help better manage and monitor its operatives whilst onsite at customer locations. The nationwide provider of security services will roll-out the solution to around 100 mobile and manned guards. Finally, Winsted has recruited Julie McGill as its UK Sales Manager. Julie will be helping to look after the company’s fast expanding customer base, which covers the UK, Europe and Middle Eastern markets.
