It’s the end of the working week and on today’s round-up we leave you with more on IFSEC and some interesting applications from around the world…

Axxon has announced that it will showcase its CCTV software solution at IFSEC.  Already in use at the heart of the world’s largest homeland security initiative – Moscow Safe City, the Intellect VMS hopes to attract interest amongst visitors at the show. Also exhibiting its latest network video recorder will be Plustek.  It will be sharing a stand with EtherWan, a leader in Ethernet connectivity for IP surveillance.

At the MIPS 2010 show Nedap AEOS walked away with the award for ‘Best Innovation Product’. The award demonstrates the newest achievements in the safety and security industry.

On to applications, once again Hikvision network IP cameras proved to be a big hit for Military Command in Brazil. Its 2-megapixel CMOS-based network cameras, high-speed domes and H.264 compression cards were selected to secure the military command headquarters. Lastly, at the Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport it was IndigoVision that provided the integrated solution for the new passenger terminal.
