On today’s news round-up, the Physical Security Interoperability Alliance (PSIA) has announced that it will host a reception at ISC West 2011 to demonstrate the final pieces of its security suite of specifications. At the upcoming IFSEC 2011 show, Basler will be exhibiting its new IP fixed dome camera models with added two-way audio function and a new multimedia video processor. Over in Germany, Plustek’s network digital video recorder has been integrated with a third party access control system to secure a jewellery store.

Lastly, LaserCard Corporation, a leading provider of government ID solutions, has received a purchase order valued at approximately $2.1 million for chip-ready, optical security media-based credentials for the Saudi Arabia National ID Card programme.
