In today’s news round-up, NICE Systems announced that it surpassed $1 billion in bookings in 2013 for the first time in its history. NICE will announce its fourth quarter and full-year 2013 results on 5th February, with a conference call and webcast to follow. Over in the Netherlands, Nedap AVI has announced that it will globally operate under the new name Nedap Identification Systems, effective immediately. The change is a result of the company’s rapidly expanding portfolio, including the newly implemented Nedap Mobility Solutions which will also be part of Nedap Identification Systems. 

In corporate news, Tavcom has published its 2014 training course prospectus, with the inclusion of a new system integration course and online Level 5 BTEC Diploma course. In other corporate news, ISM has announced details of its 2014 forecast, with a predicted 35% growth for the year. ISM has also recently welcomed Ruaa Al-Hili as its newest addition to the team.
