In today’s weekly news round-up, MOBOTIX AG has signed a new UK distribution agreement with NBM Distribution Limited. MOBOTIX has approximately 150 active partners in the UK, served by a distribution community which includes Mayflex and ADI Global. In corporate news, Samsung Techwin’s Professional Security Division has introduced an Advanced Replacement service for its products. The service allows products that develop a fault during the first year of their three year warranties to be replaced within 48 hours of receiving the request.

In other corporate news, DVTEL, INC. has appointed Kim Loy as Vice President, Global Marketing and Chief Product Officer. In her new role, Loy is responsible for all global marketing, product strategy and implementation activities. Over in the US, HID Global recently announced the opening of its new World Headquarters and North American Operations Centre in Austin, Texas. The new facility will consolidate the company’s corporate, manufacturing, assembly and test, distribution, and sales operations.
