In today’s weekly news round-up, SourceSecurity.com has been made media partner for INTERPOL World 2015, taking place in Singapore on 14-16 April. The event will serve as a catalyst to identify, develop and drive security initiatives for real world security situations across four key domains, including Border Management, Cyber Security, Safe Cities and Supply Chain Security. In application news, Oncam Grandeye has been awarded a contract by the Houston Airport System (HAS) to provide Evolution 360 cameras for Hobby and Bush International Airports. The cameras will be utilised at security check points, gate areas, and large general areas.

In corporate news, TDSi has expanded its Software Development team with the inclusion of new Software Test Engineer, Neil Smiley. Neil is an associate employed by Bournemouth University and will be assisting TDSi via the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) scheme. Over in Qatar, AxxonSoft has opened a new office located in Doha. The move is part of the company’s lean-forward strategy for broadening its global presence in new markets.  Finally, SALTO Systems has been chosen to secure the new commons building on the Bath Spa University campus.
