In today’s news round-up, Honeywell is to showcase key technology trends including cloud based solutions, proliferation of mobile devices, and easier system integration for new products and solutions at this year’s IFSEC International, which takes place next month in Birmingham, UK. Enhanced versions of Honeywell’s products will be on show at stand E80, Hall 4. In other events news, Winfrasoft’s PINgrid solution has been awarded “Best Secure Transaction” at the SC Awards Europe 2013.

In corporate news, Pilgrims Group has appointed John McCaffery as Director for the Middle East following the company’s continued expansion in the region. He will continue to grow the Pilgrims brand in the Middle East, particularly within Iraq in the oil and gas and EPCM markets. Over in the UK, AMG Systems and Viseum have announced a strategic technology partnership, which is expected to create huge synergy for both companies, to the benefit of end users. Finally, Crocus Technology has announced the release of a prototype of Match in Place (MiP), a distinctive security technique that strengthens user authentication in digital transactions.
