In today’s news round-up, Dallmeier has received Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) certification and as such is now recognised as a company with certificated “AEO-F, customs simplifications/security and safety” status. In other corporate news, Axis Communications’ founder, Martin Gren, has been awarded the Business Medal for outstanding entrepreneurship by The Royal Patriotic Society in Sweden. The medal is awarded to people in Sweden who have contributed to long-term important work in the country.

In events news, Mul-T-Lock will showcase its access control technology at IFSEC 2013, including the Smartair eCylinder and Watchlock padlock security solutions. Watchlock, winner of the 2012 IFSEC Physical Security of the Year award, combines a high security padlock, GPS locating system and SIM card based communication technologies. In other events news, the SANS Institute will host Pen Test Berlin, the largest dedicated training event for ethical hackers in Europe, from 3rd-8th of June 2013. Finally, the British Security Industry Association’s (BSIA) Export Council research has shown a steady growth of UK security exports to Russia. The research took place ahead of this month’s Moscow International Protection, Fire and Safety (MIPS) exhibition, which takes place at Moscow’s Expocentre between 15th -18th April.
