In today’s weekly news round-up, Oncam Grandeye continues its Asian expansion with the opening of a new office in Delhi. The company formally launched its new regional office at an event held on 14th October at the British High Commissioner’s residence. In other application news, Vodafone has entered an exclusive partnership with HID Global to pilot the company’s emerging mobile access solution. The new solution allows employees to physically access the workplace using only their smartphone. Over in China, TDSi is building a commanding market share in the security market. TDSi Managing Director John Davies partly attributes TDSi’s success in the country to the quality perception of British goods. Finally, SALTO Systems will exhibit its contactless hospitality access control solutions at the Independent Hotel Show, taking place from 21st-22nd October in London. SALTO’s range of contactless locks, electronic cylinders, energy savers, locker locks and new XS4 mini locks will be on display. Read more security news…
