It’s been an eventful week in both UK politics as the leader’s debate took place last night and Iceland unexpected volcano eruption causes untold chaos to airports around the world.  To add to your news diet we have the latest from the security world to keep you up to speed.

First up, there is a new head of UK sales as Bosch who will be whipping up sales for Bosch surveillance solutions as he brings considerable industry experience to the team.  Concept Smoke Screen’s intruder solution is unveiled as a contender for a coveted IFSEC award at this year’s show.

In Norway’s surveillance market there is a new player in the way of Basler. In a bid to make its mark on the market Basler has signed a deal with Last Mile Communication an IP network and video surveillance distributor.

It’s a win for the European ATM Security Team as there effort produce a 36 per cent reduction in ATM fraud losses.

The last note comes from AD Group who are doing their bit for the Forever Manchester charity. AD Group buys ‘virtual’ Manchester Town Hall for £25k to back  the charity initiative.
