On today’s news round-up, after 50 years with Bosch, Professor Dr.-Ing. Hermann Scholl is to resign from office effective June 30, 2012 and Dr. Rer.nat. Volkmar Denner will take over as the new chairman of the Bosch board of management. In application news, the Air and Marine Operations Center (AMOC), the operational and domain awareness center for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Office of Air and Marine (OAM), has implemented NICE solutions to record and manage mission-critical voice communications used for investigations and debriefing.

In events news, Compro has announced that it will be showcasing its IP surveillance products at this year’s Secutech Expo 2012 taking place in Taiwan from 18th to 20th April. Surveon will also be at the show exhibiting its Smart Megapixel Recorder (SMR) Series all-in-one desktop megapixel hardware RAID NVR solutions and its megapixel recording solutions.
