In today’s news round-up, AxxonSoft’s Axxon Intellect Enterprise has been used to secure regional branches of Raiffeisen Bank Aval in Ukraine. The video management system protects 630 bank locations, with around 2,500 IP and 9,500 analogue cameras. In corporate news, the newly updated LEGIC Identsystems website recently went live and with it the company launched its new identity. Part of this reinvention is a new company slogan, “THE ID NETWORK”, which emphasises the advantages of LEGIC’s partner network for its customers.

In other corporate news, Reflex Systems has achieved gold accreditations from the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) and the British Approvals for Fire and Equipment (BAFE). The company has recently carried out an eight month review of its policies, processes and procedures relating to fire and security to ensure it met the industry’s requirements. Over in Romania, it has been reported that E.U. funding has driven significant growth in the country’s infrastructure and surveillance market, which more than doubled in size in 2012. Growth is also expected in the Croatian surveillance market following its accession into the European Union earlier this month. Finally, Crocus Technology has raised €34 Million in additional capital to fund new projects.
