In today’s news round-up, the ASSA ABLOY 580 electric lock has been installed on doors at Stockholm’s Karolinska University Hospital, providing secure access protection while allowing rapid evacuation and re-entry. After a successful pilot project on 20 doors, the technology is now being implemented on 350 doors across the hospital. In corporate news, SALTO Systems have assisted a cycle team from Citadines Apart’hotels to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.
