Johan Molin, the company’s President and CEO, says this result is due to the ASSA ABLOY’s substantial investments in innovation over the past seven years. In corporate news, MOBOTIX has reported growth in its revenue and earnings before interest and taxes for the 2012/2013 fiscal year. In the third quarter of the current fiscal year, the group achieved a 15.1% growth in revenue from last year to €22.2 million, with an EBIT margin of nearly 21%.

In today’s news round-up, Nedap has been awarded a large-scale RFID roll-out in 19 countries by a major French sports retailer. The project, which is expected to be completed in early 2014, will involve the upgrading of all existing Nedap RF electronic article surveillance antennas to hybrid RF/RFID antennas. In application news, IQinVision HD megapixel cameras have been installed by REMA 1000, a multinational grocery chain headquartered Norway.
