On today’s round-up, we focus on corporate news from the latest security partnerships and achievements. artec technologies has announced its cooperation with ViDiCore, the general agent for the intelligent video surveillance cameras by RIVA. Effective immediately, artec will be distributing their comprehensive range of cameras in Germany and some of the neighbouring countries. GEUTEBRUCK and Basler have also entered a partnership; GEUTEBRUCK’s high-end TopLine series will now feature specially-designed Basler IP cameras on a project-by-project basis.

Access control specialist SALTO has announced that its best-selling GEO cylinder lock is now IP66 rated. Now, not only is it fully compatible with most RFID technologies, but can now also be used in all weather environments. At the sixth annual Axis Channel Convergence Conference, Axis Communications presented the 2011 North American Application Development Partner of the Year award to Genetec for the latter’s committed efforts to develop joint opportunities. Pelco and Navtech Radar have announced the integration of Navtech Radar systems with Pelco video security cameras and systems to provide an outstanding surveillance solution for large areas. CNL Software and Mistral Solutions have also announced a new partnership through which Mistral will add CNL Software’s highly scalable PSIM solution to its existing portfolio of Homeland Security solutions. UK-based OmniPerception has been chosen as a supplier to FCO Services, the Trading Fund of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. The framework agreement makes OmniPerception’s unique biometric technology available in approved products and services for FCO Services’ government customers.
