For our last round up of the week the focus is vertical market applications.

At the top of the list we have an application story from CEM systems. With upcoming Commonwealth Games 2010 being hosted in New Delhi, CEM have been commissioned to install an access control solution for Delhi international airport.

At the Mohican North Star Casino in Wisconsin, CA, IndigoVision’s  IP-CCTV solution is at the heart of the “ground-breaking” integrated  IP-security system.

Lastly, a combination of IQeye HD megapixel cameras and artec Digital video recorders were used the Latvian Natural History Museum to increase security.

Arecont Vision, Milestone and Pivot3 are to organise IP technology road shows across the US in 2010. The theme of the Technology Road Show will be ‘Complete IP Solution’ with VMS, hardware and storage as the three components.  Arecont Vision also announces appointment s of two new members to expand on its growing European sales team.  At Xtralis there is also a growth in its sales team as it adds two key appointments to it’s UK team.  Lastly, on our news reel Milestone Systems and Honeywell Security Group work together to promote IP products.

As the Winter Olympic Games draws ever nearer, among our array of news bites we have an announcement from Panasonic that they have installed a variety of surveillance systems to secure the Olympic venues.
